ATOL & ABTA Protection

When you book a package holiday through Shore Luxe Travel, you can have complete peace of mind knowing it is protected by both our ABTA membership and the ATOL licence of the tour operator. As authorised agents for several ATOL-licensed operators, we will ensure you receive an ATOL Certificate within 24 hours of booking any qualifying package holiday. This certificate confirms your booking is protected. 

If your booking is ATOL protected, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) will ensure, in the unlikely event of the operator’s insolvency, that you are not stranded abroad and that any payments made for advance bookings are refunded. For more details, visit the CAA website. 

For package holidays that do not include flights, financial protection is often provided by the operator through an ABTA bond. Please refer to the individual operator’s booking conditions for full details. 

If you book standalone arrangements, such as accommodation only or car hire, the financial protections under ABTA and ATOL do not apply. If financial protection is important to you, we recommend purchasing appropriate travel insurance or opting for a package holiday.

• Review it carefully to ensure all parts of your trip are listed.
• Only the listed parts will be ATOL protected.
